Mission:

HMRI will be dedicated to the improvement of the health standards of the people through health management research and training.

Objectives:

Conduct policy and programmatic research on the most important policy and management issues in the health sector.

Develop successful models of service delivery and management which can be adopted widely by public sector and other health care organizations.

Train health professionals to effectively manage health services.

Disseminate contemporary information and state of art management technology in the Arab world and other developing countries of the region.

Establish the Institute as a world-class academic institution in the area of health and population management.

Core Strategies:

Create a platform for active interaction between professionals, hospitals, other healthcare related organizations, society and the government agencies.

Research on management best practices across different industries globally, adapt it to local environment and assist health care organizations to implement these systems / processes and tools in order to maximize operational efficiency, clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Work towards continuous improvement of the health status of the people in the region through better management of health care.

Participate with the government, non governmental organizations, UN organization, social organizations, private organizations, professionals and prominent citizens to create a platform for health sector development activities.

Develop systems and mechanisms to disseminate information to the target groups.

Network, collaborate and maintain strategic alliance with similar institutions worldwide.
