The institute will be mainly focused on health systems and health care research. It would design and conduct health system research, policy analysis and review, program implementation research, operations research, baseline, concurrent and end line evaluations, assessment studies, epidemiological research and survey research. It would provide consultation services in all management areas for enhancing organizational effectiveness in the health sector.

Education:

The institute would establish itself as the number one centre for education in health care management, through its masters, graduate and certificate programs. The institute shall provide comprehensive course content and structure of international standards, tailored to meet regional requirements.

Training:

The institution would emerge as the centre of excellence for management development programs on all areas related to Health management. It would be a learning organization and would disseminate knowledge acquired through research and consultancies to improve the knowledge and practices of the Health professionals like managers, policy planners, providers, trainers, research scientists and others.
